I don't agree with the Cardinals fining Coach Gannon $100k... I believe it only happened because of the soft ass world we live in today... If you're an athlete with any kind of integrity and respect for the game..you'll understand that situation…This is football..that play

Sources: Cardinals are fining HC Jonathan Gannon $100,000 for his sideline altercation with RB Emari Demercado, who dropped the football before crossing the goal line Sunday on what would’ve been a 72-yard touchdown run. There will be no further discipline for Gannon.

If I owned an NFL team and a player intentionally dropped the ball before he crossed the goal line, I would fire him that day. You’re too dumb to be my employee. Bye. I can’t believe the Arizona Cardinals are fining THE COACH for being too mad about the play. Poor ownership.

Nah lil Brodie let’s keep our hands off people! If you thought a coach cost you a game and you hemmed him up they’d crucify you. That Youngin still a man and he can get cussed out but don’t put ya hands on me. If he would’ve rocked Gannon ass he would be out the league

Jonathan Gannon becoming the target here — and not the selfish RB who cost his team a game and possibly his coach a job, by the end of the year — is wild.

For those keeping score at home: Jonathan Gannon - Fined $100k by his team for being justifiably pissed at his player for putting himself over the team and making a cuttable offense Emari Demercado - No consequences for his gross incompetence Quite an organization the

Jonathan Gannon is totally correct and within his realm as a Head Coach. What the RB Demercado did was unacceptable and in the end, cost the Cardinals the football game. Welcome to 2025 America.

Jonathan Gannon is the first NFL head coach to be fined for an altercation with a player since the NFL fined former Bucs HC Bruce Arians $50,000 for swiping his hand at safety Andrew Adams’ helmet during a January 2022 wild-card game against Philadelphia.
