Meet Tsewang Tharchin A 46 yr old ex-soldier of the Ladakh Scouts Regiment, a Kargil war veteran who fought for India in the 1999 Kargil war. He won the war against Pakistan, but shot dead by his own government in Ladakh with multiple bullets to his head and chest.

My son was a patriot. He fought the Kargil war & was at the front for 3 months. He fought Pakistanis at Dah Top and Tololing. Pakistanis couldn't kill him, but our own forces have taken his life,” says his father Stanzin Namgyal.

We live in strange times. A patriot who fought for his country for years can be discredited in seconds. I am surprised police has yet not found any Pakistani link for this deceased veteran.
